They don't seem expensive at first (each course is $17.50) but then you have to buy the supply kits (anywhere from $25-$30) and then you have to make cakes for each course which really adds up. I took three of the four courses and probably spent close to $200. I would definitely recommend the courses, especially since they have recently been updated. There are only three courses, I think, and more modern techniques than when I took them last year.
I don't consider myself a professional. I am, however, a perfectionist and would much rather trash an entire cake than present a sloppy one.
Cool, Brandy you are very creative... How did you learn how to decorate cakes like that?
ReplyDeleteI took the Wilton decorating classes which unlocked my creativity. I am the artist, cake is my medium...something cheesy like that :)
